Email Automation

This command is use to automatically manage your email messages with your Automation Anywhere TaskBot / MetaBot Logic.
Using this command you can automate the following activities:

• Manage your incoming email messages and download attachments to specific folders.
• Delete unwanted email(s).
• Organize email messages while downloading them, based on status (All, Read, and Unread).
• Select either HTML and Plain text formats for your email messages.

Sub-Commands

• Get All Messages - This command is use to download all incoming email messages from the mail server to a specified folder on your computer.
• Delete All Messages - This command is use to delete all email messages from the mail server.
• Delete Message - This command is use to delete the most recent email message from the Inbox. Use a LOOP command with the Email Automation command.

Components of Get All Messages:

• Host Name - Enter host name of your mail server.
• User Name - Enter your Email Id, which you want to automate.
• Password - Enter your Email's password.
• Secure Connection(SSL) - Select this option if your mail server provide secure connection.
• Server Type - Select server type and enter port number to automate your mail.
• All, Read, Unread - Select an option as per your need to which type of mail you want to automate.
• Message Format - Select an option to get Message in specified format.
• Save Attachment - Select path where you want to save an attachment(s).

  

  Get All Messages

Components of Delete All Messages:

• Host Name - Enter host name of your mail server.
• User Name - Enter your Email Id, which you want to automate.
• Password - Enter your Email's password.

• Server Type - Select server type and enter port number to automate your mail.
• All, Read, Unread - Select an option as per your need to which type of mail you want to delete.

  

  Delete All Messages

NOTE - Before using Email Automation command, ensure that Email setting with same host name is configured in Automation Anywhere.

To check Email setting - Click on Tools -> Options -> Email Setting.

Send Mail

This command is use to send emails from the automated Task. Using this command, you can send multiple mails at once using semi-colon between each email address.

NOTE - Before using Send Email command, ensure that Email setting is configured in Automation Anywhere.
